Immersion Overview

The details

During this 3 day immersion we will examine the relationship between Yin practice and Chinese Medicine. Packed full of resources, insight, tools and mentorship for your Yin Yoga teaching journey, our Way of Yin immersion will expand you both personally and professionally. This special offering is designed to empower you with the deep confidence to share your knowledge with the wider community.

We will journey through the 5 elements, exploring classical Daoist & Chinese Medical concepts and practices. We examine the Three Treasures; Qi, Jing and Shen, Cosmology, Qi Channels, Yin & Yang, the role of emotions and more.

There is a large focus on the practical application for our Yin Yoga practice and teaching in our Yoga Lab. We utilize both Hugh’s experience, insight and skilful facilitation plus the collective hive mind of the group. We brainstorm, discuss, revise and theme new classes. We address roadblocks to teaching and match poses to elements. You are fully supported to transform what’s been challenging within your personal teaching.

Each day we finish with a restorative 60 min Yin class co-taught by Hugh and Becca, exploring various modalities such as Element Yoga Nidra, Meditation or Acupuncture.  ⠀

The next 3 day Immersion will be held at Soul Pod Health + Healing
